The story doesn't do a good job of portraying her "oppressed" feelings.
MC seems a bit full of himself at times, but he doesn't seem pushy. She made no effort in talking to him about things.
If the relationship failed, it's way more her fault.
MC is ultimately winning. He's young, has a house, a nice job, and can move forward with his next relationship with this lesson in mind.
All this while his ex has a low-paying job, a pretty boy who's gonna dump her in a few months, and isn't completely sure what she wants (judging by her face in the last panel).
On top of that, she now has to pay damages to MC. (Japanese law)

No mater the perspective, She cheated, If she was so unhappy why didn't she not talk to MC about it, and if she wasn't unsatisfied, leave to star a new life. But to cling to the MC and cheat on him and not even having a conversation about how you feel, is a cop-out, you just allowed your self to be swept be a sweet talker wife hunter.
